need I say more?

I will not spare you the photo. Here’s the bigger picture: we have plaster bagworms everywhere I look. It is disgusting. Not as horrendous as the scorpions of Texas, but ew. They basically look like white watermelon seeds, only THEY MOVE, and they eat through SWEATERS. And I keep finding them in my closet. I can’t find any spiderwebs and vacuum constantly. This is bad news bears. Will cedar even help at this point? These bagworms are so not my bag.

  1. Put those Black label sweaters and all your scarves into plastic boxes with dried lavender sachets. This is what I do in the northeast for moths. I don’t know if these bugs are similar but moths don’t like lavender. This has worked for me for several years.

  2. Those sound awful! Do spiders eat them? If so, it might be worth it to have a harmless garden spider around.

  3. I had no idea what these things were until I read this post! I thought I was going crazy! Thank you so much for sharing and please let us know if you find a solution.

  4. I’m still a bit stressed out from the tarantula picture you posted a few years back…
