Wonderful piece, very evocative! I can smell the pool in Indiana on hot summer days, the lotions, seeing other mysteries as the older high school girls flirting with boys as my sister and I, eight and ten, chased each other all day.

I find it funny that the older I get the more I found out the when I was younger, girls were doing the same things as us guys. Here you are looking at porn, being important to these other girls because of the porn just as a buddy of mine was important to us because his parents were divorced, he lived with his dad, who worked all day and who happened to have a very extensive porn collection. It really makes me laugh because I remember the girls in junior high just seemed so prude-ish but I am guessing they weren't.
