Just when I say I’m not an in-your-face mom, Mother’s Day has gotta swing ’round and mock me. Add insult to injury, there’s an event at BookPeople that I simply refuse to miss tonight. I’m going to show my support to Izzy Rose, author of The Package Deal. Tonight, 7pm. Yes, free cocktails and cupcakes… just what my diet calls for. It’s also a great excuse to catch up with the girls. Now, I’m off to go find some girls to play with me.
