I’m not leaving today, but I am leaving this Friday. I’m heading to New York City. On Wednesday, June 6, I will be leading a memoir panel discussion at Bryant Park. 12:30 pm. It’s free and open to the public. At first they approached me asking if I’d be a panelist, and then they asked if I wouldn’t mind leading the discussion. Sure, why not? I didn’t take a moment to think about what that would mean. It means reading and coming up with questions, and making introductions. Something a new mother of twins never should have agreed to do. But at least I’ll be in excellent company at the Bryant Park Word for Word event. Here are the details:
- Wednesday, June 6
- 12:30pm – 1:45pm
- Bryant Park Reading Room
Josh Kilmer-Purcell, I Am Not Myself These Days
Carole Radziwill, WHAT REMAINS: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love
