I just came back from the bathroom to flowers at my desk. I love my life. I’m now singing the Flowers Are Red song by Harry Chapin. They are so beautiful; I can’t deal!!! I love to be courted by my friends.
I like Chapin because he's a storyteller. I like Taxi; I LOVE flowers are red. Actually, 99% of the music I dig is for the lyrics. God, I LOVE the song "Break your heart" by the barenaked ladies for that reason. That song is my life. It really is my life. I love how we can identify with short stories, music, art… I love how we can find ourselves in it, and we love most that which we identify… likeness leads to liking sort of thing.
"Taxi," the song so wistful that it earned its own "Sequel." Interesting that storyteller Chapin's most famous story song, "Cat's in the Cradle," was written not by him but by his wife (and about his young son). Great songs, all.
I've never met another Harry Chapin fan. You're kidding me right? The perfect woman…
Female Harry Chapin fan that is…
LOVE HIM
Oh yeh? What about Marty Robbins?
Love Harry Chapin…Corey's Coming, Taxi, 30,000 lbs of Bananas….great stuff….
