white assets

Please, didn’t anyone tell you, no white ass after labor day?
Well, given that Memorial Day weekend and my book launch for Moose, are fast approaching, my ass and I are trying to contain ourselves. Yes, I actually took photos of my ass to send to my husband when I was in New York. "Which one do you like?" I emailed, sending both options. Then I realized, he’s a guy, he won’t know the difference. Well, at least it was better than emailing him a photo of shoes with the subject line: Do these shoes make my ass look fat?

  1. I like the butt on the second ones but i like the overall feel of the first ones way more…just in case you wanted to know;)

  2. I think it's great you took pictures to send to your husband (I'm sure he did too!). Very noble to let him in on your shopping decisions. AND I think it's even more impressive that you put them on display for all of us readers. :) I'm not sure I would have the guts to do that.
Both pairs look good, by the way.

  3. The first (top) ones look MUCH better! The second (bottom) pair are too tight for your body and it looks like the button would pop open if you sat down.

First pair of pants are much more balanced.

  4. If you are asking… neither of those pairs of pants are flattering. White pants on anyone who has anything resembling curves usually just doesn't look that great. That said, if you have to have white pants, the first pair look a lot better. The super wide legs on the second ones make your legs look short. Perhaps go up a size? And don't get me wrong, I don't mean any of this unkindly. I think you and I have almost exactly the same body shape (I can totally relate to your remark about the bridesmaid dresses, vnecks and boobs) and it's a nice shape. Those pants just don't do anything for it.

  6. Which ones did he like? I think the first pair look better. And when you live somewhere warm, like you do now, you really could get away with wearing white all year long. :)

  7. I hope you went with the top option. They're cute!

The bottom ones are, um, gynecologically unfriendly (or overly friendly, depending on your point of view).

  8. I like the top ones better. The bottom ones, you have that thing….Can't explain it. When you wear tight pants and have a peep hole between your inner thighs when your legs are together. Get me?

Plus, your ass looks nicer in the top one.

  9. on the first picture it looks great, but on the second one you look huge! not good at all. cute jeans tho, maybe just not for you.
You can't even use being pregnant because you did have your babies a year ago.

  10. Unsolicited advice: The second one, if only because the photo is better ass angled. Plus, a looser fit through the leg looks a bit more polished.

  11. You look great! What size are you wearing these days? Weight? What have you done to lose the weight after babies? I don't understand how you can eat such fabulous food and maintain your weight. Please tell!

  12. I can only say…"Skinny Bit..!" You look FANTASTIC! Love both pictures. Both look really good. Either is a good choice! Buy both.

I am still using my sons' births as an excuse for my body (and they are 8 and 10) and here you are, back at a size 0, so it looks. Winter white is the new black, Stephanie…you look great. Girl power!

P.S. I must say that I gave you a hard time over the USO in San Antonio a while back (as a military family member)…but I adore your blog, like a girlfriend I agree with and disagree with…you rock!

  14. I really like the pants. They look really good on you. I'm in search for good white pants. What brand makes them?

  15. i'm a guy (one of few on the site?) and straight i may add and i would say the top one completely

  16. sorry if this posts a second time … as i was saying as one of the few (?) males on this site definitely the top ones

  17. wow, i almost feel like i'm looking at myself…..i hope you went with the true religions. both look cute but the TR make your legs look longer.

  18. THE TOP ONE FOR SURE

P.S. Don't you dare call yourself fat!! You are looking fantastic!

  19. first of all: why is it s hard to find pants with pockets that aren't so low these days. why do designers think a dumpy ass is stylish? i think pockets that go below the cheek are so unflattering: on EVERYBODY! i'm always on the lookout for pants with NO butt pockets. anybody know where i can find those? and i'm not talking about the horizontal slit pocket either: i mean NO pocket. those always look the nicest i think. anybody have any suggestions?

between these two photos i say the second pair is much more flattering…the butt pockets are a little higher and allow for that lower butt cheek crease (at the thigh) that i think is so important with pants. y'know what i mean…so you can see the line between your butt and your thigh–this is what makes a nice pair of pants if you ask me!

  20. Speaking as a guy, men are disinterested in the front area of a pair of jeans (apart from the occasional perv searching for a gander of camel toe). So I'd lose the jeans with the tight crotch–these can chafe (as my wife testifies). The straight man's line of sight always zeros into the rear.

    Verdict: first picture. Naturally.

  21. Feel free to ignore the unsolicited comments. The first pair look like a traditional pair of white pants. The second pair look like a new twist to the traditional pair. I love the pockets on the second pair, and that would sway me to buy them. But, you look good in both of them!

    :-)

  22. First ones. Don't like the back pocket on the second ones or the flares.

  23. I'm not crazy about either, but the first pair are much better. I think you could find a better fit for your curves (I've got 'em too so I'm not judging). SOmething a little looser (not baggy though) would look good. I like white pants; they look so fresh and clean.

  24. neither – these look terrible! no offense, but white pants are difficult for most people, especially those with a little extra baggage…

  25. Definitely top ones as long as they are not going to shrink. Wide leg does nothing for your cute curves.

  26. I love the True Religions! Go for those! They look much better than the Hudsons (I think that's the brand of the second pair?)

Oh, and you are looking MAHVELOUS! I like the way 138 lbs. looks on you and I think if you lost another 10 or 12 pounds it would be too skinny for you. You're perfect just the way you are. Now I'm off to the gym to get this 150 lb. body whittled down to at least 138 :)
